Emotional Freedom Techniques

Picture
EFT falls under the larger umbrella of energy psychology.

EFT uses the same meridian system as acupuncture but without the needles. EFT has been researched in more than 7 countries and results have been published in more than 15 peer-reviewed journals. These empirical studies as well as individual reports have shown that EFT is able to rapidly reduce the negative emotional impact of memories and past incidents that trigger emotional and physical distress. EFT is rapid and long lasting.

In addition, EFT has been proven effective in the treatment of depression, anxiety, trauma, weight loss, phobias and much more!

The basic premise in EFT is that when we are exposed to trauma or anything emotionally upsetting in our lives, we initiate the fight, flight or freeze response. This response then repeats itself whenever any aspect of the initial stressful event is triggered. Eventually, unresolved trauma can present as physical trauma.

Clinical EFT helps individuals move past negative emotions resulting from past and present life experiences thereby allowing us to be present in the moment instead of continually reacting from our past.

Clearing the past allows for creating a new and brighter future!
